Raymond Jungles, Inc. (RJI) is a dynamic, creative and ecologically sensitive landscape architecture firm practicing from its studio on the banks of the Miami River just west of downtown Miami.

The South Florida firm has maintained a local and international presence since 1981, completing countless award-winning projects of varying complexities. RJI has practiced professionally in eleven countries including Antigua, Anguilla, the Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, China, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama and St. Kitts and Nevis.

Raymond Jungles, Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, founded his landscape architecture firm soon after graduating with honors from the University of Florida in 1981. While attending college, he was introduced to the work of Brazilian artist and landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, whose book Tropical Gardens of Roberto Burle Marx, opened his eyes to the poetry of landscape design.

Raymond has thirty-one years of experience in the study and practice of landscape architecture. His passion for design and broad base of knowledge informs each and every project, from concept to completion. He enjoys mentoring his design staff and promotes interdisciplinary collaboration through design staff workshops he calls “think tanks.”

Raymond continues to lecture about his passion and practice to garden societies and private institutions around the world. He has served on multiple design and awards juries for professional design societies and has won noteworthy professional recognitions including being elected a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, becoming one of University of Florida’s Most Distinguished Alumni and being honored as the Miami Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Landscape Architect of the Year.
